On August 3, 2004 Money Mart Pawn attended a National Night Out Festival at Oak Hills Manor Apartment complex on Austin Highway. National Night Out, started in 1984, is an effort to lower and prevent crime through local and national comunity action.

At the celebration, Mr. M met with the local fire department and police officers. He also handed out pencils and Frisbees to all the kids and had some great coupons for all of the adults. There was a great deal of excitement in the air.

Money Mart's donation to the event helped provide a BBQ dinner for all of the residents who attended the party. There was also a DJ, air bounce, dunking booth, musical chairs, and even a talent show put on by some of the children who live at the complex.

We had a great time getting involved and spreading the importance of crime prevention. Hope to see everyone again next year!
